Inn On The River
This meticulously restored Inn bears a coveted Texas historical marker. Inn On The River was part of a unique complex known as Dr. Snyder's Drugless Health Sanatarium. Snyder, who touted himself as a "magnetic healer," knew that people liked to be pampered. He fed them well, provided them with hot baths and comfortable rooms, and generally gave them the kind of personal attention that made them want to return, time and again. Much has changed through the years, but Dr. Snyder's spirit is still alive. Our intimate size allows us to cater to the individual needs of your small group. You will enjoy the kind of personal service you just can't get at large hotels or conference centers. We don't claim to possess healing powers, but we do hold true to the doctor's belief that each guest should leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
Plaza Hotel
After the railroad first reached Las Vegas, New Mexico in 1879, merchants rich from the Santa Fe Trail trade pooled $1,000 each to build the Plaza Hotel. Lovingly restored and offering both hospitality and beauty, the Plaza Hotel today is just as ready to serve you a good meal or have you sleep in a comfortable bed as it was in 1882. Come to old world New Mexico with all contemporary amenities for your comfort.
Edwards of Ocracoke
One of the barrier islands of the "Outer Banks" of North Carolina, Ocracoke Island is 16 miles long, and bordered by the Pamlico Sound on the west and the Atlantic Ocean on the east. Ocracoke is on the eastern flyway of many migrating water and land birds including sandpipers, herons, willets, cardinals, indigo buntings, grosbeaks, and warblers. Ocracoke and its environs are a birdwatcher's paradise. Bring binoculars if you would like a close up view of the wildlife.
Woodland Trails Bed and Breakfast
The bed and breakfast inn offers five spacious guest rooms, each with private bath. Woodland Trails Bed 'n Breakfast also has available a Guest Cabin featuring three bedrooms and 2 baths; perfect for families taking a Minnesota vacation.
